 spent time with hui jie today, to celebrate her birthday. initially, i organised for it to be with tej and kenneth but they couldnt make it at the last minute so we went ourselves. hui jie wanted to get a wallet and pencil box from the wallet shop. we got a very entertaining story from that. so we asked around if anyone knew if there was a wallet shop around town, and rin told us that she thought that there was one at centrepoint. hui jie and i were not sure but we decided to give it a shot. we looked for the wallet shop at every floor, for about 30 to 45 minutes. you know i wanted to look for the directory or ask the information counter at first. BUT huijie didnt want to. so we went to the second floor and the third and so on, all the while looking for a directory to find the shop. we could not find both, so we decided to go back down and guess what we found out?!! so we went to OG where there obviously isnt a wallet shop. hui jie called her aunt there to ask her where the wallet shop was. WHY DIDNT SHE ASK EARLIER?! but anyway, it was a pretty useless call. she didnt know either. so then, i was extremely sure that there is one at suntec and marina square[but we didnt go there in the first place because it is really far.] yeah. so we took mrt there and went to citylink. then i said that we should see the directory and that there shoul be one at the ' beginning' so we walked in halfway and then turned cuz we decided that there cant be one there. and guess what we found??!!!! yeah. so we went to raffles city and searched for a directory FIRST. thank goodness or we'd have to walk through the whole building >< so we decided that since we were already there, might as well just walk to marina square to get the wallet/pencil box. you should have seen how fast we walked. haha! yeah. we finally got to the shop. i got a wallet for 19 bucks and hui jie got a pencil box[which is the smae character as mine] and a purple wallet. heh. so the trip wasnt wasted so i didnt have to kill her. but she owes me twenty bucks, by tomorrow! i aint too young too care but i'm too speedy to catch. ah, now that makes a difference. |
