You've Been Warned so cool right. i'm doing another book review:D You've Been Warned by James Patterson! For me, this book is a little spooky. The first time I had to put it down, which was about 11.30 last night, I couldn't stop looking behind by back. If you get what I mean. Basically[gosh, i don't like this word], it's about this pretty nanny/photographer who is having an affair with her nanny boss' husband. I know, what a jerk, right?[I'm referring to the husband] yeah, so anyway, she gets this recurring dream about what will happen in the future if she keeps the relationship. [but, she doesn't understand this dream at all in the beginning] so anyway, she also does not understand what is happening in the dream and she definitely does not understand it when people from the past who have been dead for quite a while- those include her dad, some pediatrician who molested her when she was very young, a detective she doesn't even know and another one who is not related to her but seems to know everything about her. all they say is "Beware!" "You've been warned Kristin." or something like that before they just disappear. anyway, she just continues her relationship. gosh, what do they call it? right, forbidden love. even her when she washes the photographs she takes in her very own darkroom, she realises that some of the pictures she took have strange-occurring effects appearing on them. and, there's this one picture which she never took- one of her lover, lying face down on a ground. and the thing is, everything she dreamt of happened, everything she saw, everything those who warned her said, came true. thing is, she dreamt that in one of the four body bags, she was in it. she, was destined to be murdered too. unless... ---------------------------------------------------------- it's an addictive book. but because I admit to be a little chicken-hearted, I didn't like the after effects of reading it. it is a little satanic, the book I meant. but, I guess I did enjoy every bit of it. with goosebumps, of course. ---------------------------------------------------------- just to add, some [bolded=reallyreallyreally want to :] -Narnia -Never Back down -Ironman -Sex And The City [haha!] -What Happens In Vegas - -Drillbit Taylor -Get Smart -You Don't Mess With The Zohan -The Incredible Hulk **there's more but this is the list of those I REALLYWANT to watch!! pathetic! i've only watched one in the list D: haha. i'm watching Narnia next week, with my family for sure. then, I'm going to go JB, and you never know what else I will watch(: TWO DAYS! you never know The Quickie i'm going to make it short and sweet, and it's not going to be a summary but rather what I learnt/ picked up from this book. Though this book is titled "The Quickie", it does not have anything much to do with sex. it actually revolves around this lady detective who had an affair, which is the quickie which led to the events which followed. come to think of it, the events which happened were extremely and impossibly complicated to be handled by amateurs. she must have been an excellent homicide detective, which is actually quite apparent. basically, she suffered a crazy lot, serious madness, just to cover for her bastard husband who killed her lover as she witnessed it. he didn't know that she witnessed it until veryvery late and he killed her lover right after she had sex with her lover. anyway, thing is, she tortured herself trying to erase everything which led to the finding out of who murdered her lover, who is also a cop. I shan't spoil the story anymore. but the reason it is my favourite book is basically because it shows that: one lie can build up into so much, soso much that it can kill you worse than the actual truth behind the first lie. and no matter how much you like and try to cover it, it is impossible to clear your tracks. the story also shows that you should always stand up for yourself, even in the worst of situations, do what you think is right. you never know what you might find out from telling the truth. there's more to why I love it, but if you really read it, only then you'd understand. yes, so i highly recommend you read The Quickie by James Patterson [refer to previous post] haha. okay, i know this review ain't very elaborate. but I hope it does kindle an interest:D tata! Every good thing is worth publishing. today was unbelievably fun. SEWBER reunites :D we all met at anyway, I was late, but I told Steph that last night. and we waited for Rain for like, forever. when she finally arrived, we went on a wild goose chase hiding/finding her. plain spaz :D oh yeah, saw Ken but he didn't see me(: then bused to Steph's house. the bur ride was like a roller caoster, according to wenyuan. guess why. irritating Rain is damn fun(: wenyuan and I were poking her with our feet. and wenyuan was pinching her at between her elbow and armpit there? [did you know that if you pinch hard, it's crazily painful?] yeah, anyway, Rain's positively not human either her response's slow or she's totally unresponsive. gosh, I don't make sense. blogging in detail is NOT my forte darlinggg. anyway, Steph's house's function room is unbelievably small. but that's good, it makes it all cozy :D anyway, we played asshole daidee first. was fun, except for the fact that all through the games I had lousy cards. but at least, even when your largest card is an 8hearts, it doesn't mean you'll be the [bloody/]asshole. it's really a strategy game(: yeap, with 8hearts being my largest card, I still won 4th, out of six. and i think we played 98364563"last" games :D that's usual. okay, then we played hide-and-seek tag? so basically, we had to hide and the catchers had to look for us and tag us. yeap! it was amusing. we played within 1 tiny block and 3 floors of it. gosh, the hydraulic lift takes forever! ahha. I guess finding steph and esther[we were always in pairs] was the funnest. they were hiding in the gym. rain and or wenyuan only realised when we saw this black thing pressing against a translucent backdoor of the gym. yeap, anyway, we took about 10~15 minutes looking for them can't blame us though. Steph obviously finds the best hiding places since it's HER condo. so anyway, we ended up playing with the equipment in the gym until the security guard came. and he told us a loooonnnnggg story about how he got scolded because he just 'walked past' those who were breaking the rules and some condo committee member saw and reported and his senior scolded him. gosh, you know when he walked past, he came right up to the door and looked right at our footwear.[the bottom part of the glass walls are translucent] wowzaa. I didn't know security guards were that responsible. cuz such guards don't exist in my condo. then we went back to the function room and played "I have never..." and "I have..." we didn't exactly know what to say to dig out the deepest, darkest secrets but what we managed to know is: 1. Only Bernice and I are the only ones who never officially[inside joke:D whahahahahaha]got a boyfriend before. 2. and, NONE!! of us have ever french kissed before :D 3. other trivial/secret stuff I shan't blog about :D oh yeah, of course there's forfeit. you should have seen how much coldsoggyfries dipped in melted marsbars ice-cream and curry and/or chilli sauce. haha. i think Rain also ate quite abit. hmm. Steph and Esther probably ate the least? idk, actually :D tell me if i'm wrong =x we were loud! :D know what, I haven;t been this relaxed/ had this much fun with a group a girls in such a long time. thanks man:D oh yeah, if Steph ever reads this, sorry we didn't swim. we know you really wanted us to swim, but most of us didn't feel like it. hope you had as much fun as us though :D okay, then we had some reallyreallyreally stupid commercial/performance for no one :D ahhaa. girlsoutloud. can be so embarrassing! ahha, we were mostly laughing our heads of as we danced/ did stupid stuff while we were being videoed. haha. ENJOY: we don't really know who are those two. but what we do know is that aliens invaded out function room at about 5pm this evening. i'm not sure if I reversed the last two events mentioned above. you know the aliens I told you about? I think they took my memory away as a souvenir when they left. okay finally! we played bridge 4 times. I love bridge and daidee, esp bridge:D they are both games which make you think, silently. yeah I love them care to have a play date with me anytime soon? :D oh yes, went to the library, the librarian was amazed by my book choice. check this out :D  can't wait. simply can't Yesterday was great. lets do a countdown starting from today! :D 7 days! guesswhat (: David Archuleta rocks my worlddddd. I'm totally buying his album when it comes out! haha. i'll probably buy Cook's too. :D can't wait!! shall blog about today! was progress report day. my GPA sucks. I didnt do as well as I would have like to. but I reached my goal, exactly. now, just to place it higher... but i'm still quite happy with my results(: will work harder, i'm pretty worried about RA ): after Ms Hoo gave out pregress reports, she gave us a veryvery long lecture. that, made me realise, for sure, that I would not have chosen to go to rg if I could choose again. I'd reallyreally like to relive my live, from p1, if I could choose to. but I guess I've got to let bygones be bygones. I just don't know how to face the future though. but at least, I know what I want to be. & this time, I'm never ever ever ever going to let what people[my family, especially] say affect my decision towards it. I'd leave in the future, if they are so unsupportive about it. yes, I would. then, had class party! was okay. the jelly I made was finished pretty fast. I ate only ONE (*&^%$#$%^& Selene ate like, 6! ahha. Thanks Selene! for the most part, we were actually watching Step Up 2 the Streets. I wasn't really concentrating on the plot, considering I can already remember the sequence of events by heart. but, this time, I noted every move, every action of the characters. [they tell alot] anyway, my favourite part the last time I remembered, is still the same as now. it lasts 5 seconds by the way >< I pledge that I will learn professional ballroom dancing, no matter what, regardless. [which means I don't even mind paying it for myself.] but of course, I will bargain with my parents. I'd take ball room anytime, in exchange for piano, and possibly, ballet. but I will only give up ballet when worse comes to worse. actually, I don't think it will come down to that bad :D so it's okay(: helping out at lit booth for open house tomorrow. wth! I finally realised that if there's one person who deserves to win more than anybody, it's David Cook. yes, COOK. he's one person i'll hold close to my heart. because of who he is. I think he's the best brother anyone in the world could ever have. I guess he just grew on me. his appearance, his voice, his everything. I think he's beautiful, as a person. & I think he's everything I'd like to be. you could say that he just became like someone I look up to, alot, so much. not in the idolising manner. the manner in which I want to be like him. like a role-model. yes, a role-model. you probably don't understand why. but if you did some background research and observed him carefully, you'll see that he's just so wonderful, as a person. but maybe, right now, I'm lost. so I guess i'm nothing close to him. Archuleta though, has all the potential and so many years ahead of him. we don't have to worry about his future; he's already got one in the path of his career. I think he's wonderful too. a little quiet maybe, but that's what sets him apart. he seems like a thinker, a listener. and that charming smile of his. come to think of it, that's what I'm looking for in a friend. and I have yet to meet one like him. I adore Archuleta, but we need not worry about him. He's every record company's dream, for now. mine too! ha.ha. & I loved top 2 performance and results show. Archuleta has never ever ever ever sang so amazingly ever. absolutely stunning. ------------------------------------------------------- yesterday wasn't too good a day. like today, I've been feeling more emotional than usual. but it really is the out turn of events that made me so. and I realised so many things I lost, so many things I have yet to find, & I need, somebody. I can't find. Jesse McCartney's new album is out today! yeapppp(: i'll bet they're all gonna be damn nice:D and I love the song Leavin' care to buy me the album? prettyprettypleaseee? :D FINALLY. a day actually worth blogging about. ahha. sorry for not blogging consistently lately =x anyway, Wenyuan, Esther and I went to Plaza Sing today! we wanted to go wenyuan's house[again] at first but decided against it. tsk, w're bad decision makers. me and Esther were planning to dao wenyuan throughout the bus ride. ohman, i can't dao people for nuts, which is good. cuz everytime i see wenyuan, i'll start laughing. and even when i try not to, i end up making funny faces=x okay anyway, i tink they both found me super amusing >< we, no i gave up the daoing the moment we got off the bus. then went to macs to eat. and took a freaking long time to decide whether we were gonna watch movie or shop. me and wenyuan really wanted to watch a movie, Made of honour but esther didnt want. D: i got kind of pissed. no veryvery pissed. wenyuan might have too. D: i really wanna watch Made of Honour. anyway, we're watching What Happens In Vegas this thurs after dance exam which will end at like 5? yeap. okay, so anyway, we decided to buy presents. mostly for ____. we wanted to get this cute chicken from "Build-A-Bear" but guess what? it was freaking ex D: so we decided to get bras instead=x Shall summarise how we chose them... went to John Little to find first. was super embarrassing. cuz we were looking for the funny-patterned ones so it'd be funny when ____ opens it. yeah so anyway, they were either damn ex or plain ugly. hah. and the sales people kept staring at us D: but at least we didnt go there for the fun of it. we reallyreally wanted to get one for her. then we went to the groundfloor where they had some undergarment fair. and found the most ideal piece. we chose a hot pink one in the end. but before that, we chose a sports bra that hot pink too. but due to the fact that there's no underwire, we decided not to buy it. then we chose this ugly bright blue thing. seriously hedious. holding that piece was the most embarrassing. but we figured she'd probably hate it too. so we changed to a plain hot pink one with underwire. price was fine. oh and by the way, I was the victim to have to hold, queue and pay for it. hah. but wenyuan and esther were nice enough to stand beside me. so it seemed like 3 of us were sharing it. which was really strange, huh. then, we decided to get another shirt to go with it. man, that was tedious. went to alot of shops. but again, most of them were super ex. but there's this shirt i really think is cute :D it says something like Hamburger Monster an adorable picture of a cartoon hamburger. saw a couple of nice blouses too. we got a grey shirt in the end :D I need to shop. especially for dresses, for special occasions. mmhmm. and i want a clutch too! yeap! so now i owe a present for esther and waye. oh, Happy Birthday Waye! :D you're damn pretty. okay, mom's bugging me to go eat. tata! someone like my shelter. "Some people may see what was there all along." Chace Crawford is freaking sexy. &I'm addicted to Gossip Girl mind you,addicted is an under statement. I just finished episode 10 of season 1 a few seconds ago. started on Saturday, say that's not bad. 10 episodes in 3 days! hah. i'll probably watch 1 or 2 more later :D the reason i'm hooked is because of RAIN!! she told me I'd love it & she was so damn sure of it. yeah anyway, she couldn't be more right. gosh, she knows me better then I do cuz I told her I'd never watch it cuz the title sounds bimb. truth is, it's NOT bimb at all. I don't know how to describe it, but it's so freaking nice, it's nicer then smallville. BEAT THAT. PENN BADGLEY IS FREAKING CUTE too. heh, Ed Westwick, to me, is plain ugly >< yeah, anyway, I'm HOOKED! for this 12 hours [only], life is good. ps. Once again , Man U won the EPL title. Beat That. Monday geog exam was on Monday. then then went to KAP with BERNICE. to study for Bio the next day kay! was the most productive of all other group studies :D cuz we already knew hat we had to know so it was basically, real revision and refreshment, all done orally. it was damn fun and damn useful :D HAH. Bernice, of course you want to remember the conversations you had with me :D & you should be happy I blog your name (: BERNICE BERNICE BERNICE :D [Bernice saw this as I was typing this, fyi (:] I shant blog about Tuesday because there was nothing much worth blogging about, except that philo paper was not as difficult as i expected it to be. and I managed to finish it in 55 minutes (: i'm proud of myself for that :D and Bio was not too bad. I want a FPOUR POINT OH for Bio! WEDNESDAY HAH! how can wednesday not be blog worthy?! HA.HA! went to wenyuan's house to study today :D at Ang Mo Kio. say, we'd admit it was not as effective but damnit has never been this fun! okay, recap from right from the start: first, we waited for 45 minutes at RG bus stop to get to Plaza Singapura. it was 9am, peak period, that's why it took so long D: wasted time! anyway, we got to far east by 132 and walked to mrt to PS. hah. then we went to Macs, where there were alr quite a few RG people there. and it kindly requested us not to study there form 9-11 and from 12-3. we wanted to study from like 11-12. but realised that what's the point?! it was damn noisy and not conducive and stuff. so we decided to go to wenyuan's house! but i spent another 12 minutes eating my ice cream before we left Macs. haha. Rain, Esther and Wenyuan were like "Elaine don't eat like xiao jie lah!" cuz I ate small mouths and the ice cream was kind of big. wenyuan helped me eat its head :D ahahah. and they were bugging me to eat bigger mouths. but I was like "But it's so freaking cold!!" and they started discussing that there's something wrong with my teeth/gums. haha then we mrt-ed to AMK! haha. Esther and Rain offered to lead tehe way to wenyuan's house while me and wenyuan followed behind. they got lost many times. LOLLERS. me and wenyuan waited for them to find their way(: yeap, was super funny, up to the last part till we got to her house, wenyuan once again managed to fool them. cuz she told them her house was on the 11th floor and we were alr at the 11th floor, so they wanted to find her house without her telling them which unit it was. yeap. then they were examining each unit. and wenyuan ran a few steps to somewhere downstair-ish whre it was her unit and locked them out(: wenyuan's mom's mean luh. she knocked the door from inside to tell them which unit it was=x then we took out our pinafores, first thing and somehow, they couldnt get over the fact that i was wearing yellow shorts. while they were wearing FBTs. ah. and my illegal _____. haha. then went to wenyuan's room to slack/talk wasted some more time because we simply coudnt get down to studying. 1/2 hour gone. then we tried to memories parts of a cell. was effective for me and Rain. wenyuan spent most of her time smsing while Esther has to rewrite notes to learn them, which took forever. took an hour. we planned 15 minutes=x shows how distracted we were. but anyway, we gave up after digestion cuz the methods of us learning was simply too different. oh yeah, before digestion, we were prank calling. guess who! Wenyuan's mom who was outside the room we were in. Rain had a whole script about being some salesMAN from M1. would've been effective but. see, the thing is, the conversation went like that: "Hello, ni hui jiang hua yu ma ahhahahahahahahahahhahahaha." she couldnt control after she saw us laughing like siao. ahha. then she came in, and said WHO IS IT ARH? then we were super silent[ note: total opposite from other times she popped in to visit] and I kapt rocking, back facing her. I rock my body when I laugh=x added to the humour of it all. oh the funniest, Rain did it again to wenyuan's mom. this time, as we predicted, she came into the room before she picked up. then Rain forgot to put down and it was still on loudspeaker. BUT! when the ringing tome was still sounding, wenyuan's mom didnt hear it at all. then suddenly, it said: "The M1 customer......" and we burst our laughing, once again. it was so amusing! hah. trained our abs more than our brains(: and we ate/drank rubbish more than we studied too I think. and then we got really bored, lazing around and listening to music, while Esther and Rain entertained themselves with reading my smses AFTER I deleted those 'private' ones :D so it's okay(: US SLACKING...  that's wenyuan trying to take god-knows-what(:  mugger Esther! sorry don't kill me for catching you in such an unglam pic =x  aww RAIN! wenyuan behind, thought that I was taking her.  found in the midst of Rain's Bio notes. p.s. to the 3 of your, if you want your pictures taken down, drop me a tag. and I'm sorry, in case any of you guys get angry D: finally, we totally gave up trying to study at about 3+ played Wii instead. from a planned 1/2 hour to almost 2 hours. see, every game was a 'last game'. haha. was super fun! :D wenyuan took videos of us, acting reallyreally unusually while playing. haha.
