hightail Dictionary: high·tail (hī'tāl') pronunciation Slang. intr.v., -tailed, -tail·ing, -tails. To go as fast as possible, especially in fleeing: hightailed out of town. I do know the meaning of this word dopes. But then I wouldn't believe it when Bernice said she wanted to 'hightail out of ballet'. Why Bernice, again? I do agree that I'd veryveryveryveryveryveryveryveryveryvery much like to take up other things too LIKE BALLROOM DANCING but what's with the oh-so-sudden change in mind? ohwells. I just got back from a very fun ballet lesson. |
